At 92 years old Helen is a very active Senior!  Some of her hobbies are playing Pogo BINGO,  her screen name is  "grambun4". She also enjoys doing online jigsaw puzzles, and of course playing the NJ Lottery, and checking the numbers online.  She also finds time to paint.

"Tu-tu" is getting a drink from the birdbath in the back yard.   Helen has been feeding Tu-tu for many of years.  Then one day, Tu-tu brought his family.  See Below

In 1985, at the age of 68, Helen and her husband Joe joined a Senior Citizen’s Art Club where she painted her first pastel painting. Several years later Helen changed her art medium to oils and thus began her leisure pursuit as an artist. Most of her ideas for paintings come from snap-shots, newspaper articles, her garden and the neighborhood sights.

Completing an average of 2 oil paintings a month, she has accumulated a nice size collection, filling the walls in every room of her home.

Helen has donated numerous paintings to her clubs, the Linden Volunteer Ambulance Corps Aux., St. Theresa’s Church, and Holy Family Church as prizes for their fund raising events. The photo below is the dedication of Helen's painting to be hung in the Linden Public Library.

As of June 1, 2009, her 92nd birthday, it is estimated that Helen has painted over 250 paintings and her goal in life is for every one of her friends and family members to have a painting as remembrance of her.

So far, there is a painting of Helen’s hanging somewhere in Portugal; Saudi Arabia; Arizona; Indiana; Florida; North Carolina; Maryland; West Virginia; Pennsylvania; Oklahoma, New York, and North & South New Jersey.
